WFH Office Tour with Ali Grief, founder and creative director of MONTCE Swim.

Working from home, or WFH, can feel like a bliss, or the abyss. We got in touch with some of our favorite swimwear designers and asked them to share their routine and how they stay productive and sane in this strange and unprecedented situation.

Unquestionably, the quarantine gives us time to devote to the things we love. To be innovative, imaginative and connect we those whom we love. Paraiso endeavored on a WFH Office Tour with Ali Grief, founder and creative director of MONTCE Swim, and asked her a few questions.

ALI’s HOME OFFICE

P: What went into creating your home workspace setup?

AG: I actually had one already, but when the baby came I got bumped to the garage haha... I have been working on it for months; organizing the garage, moving stuff to the storage, installing cabinets, etc. It worked out well in that respect.

P: Are there any desk essentials you can’t work without?

AG: I do like to do hand written lists, and need to sketch for new collections, so I would say pen and paper :)

P: Do you listen to music or watch shows while you work?

AG: I am always listening to music … I prefer to work from home, because it lets me get the most done in the least amount of time. I pop into the store and office when I have a set thing to do. Just never enough hours in the day so this helps me streamline my day and focus with minimal distraction.
